The Kane 455 Infra Red Analyser is a new generation gas analyser that incorporates direct measurement of CO2 using non-dispersive infra red (NDIR) technology and a long life CO sensor.  Both sensors have an expected life of over five years.

This approach, and particularly the elimination of lead based electrochemical sensors, (probably the least reliable of all the components in traditional FGAs) will help to ensure that unplanned downtime is minimised and that overall service costs are reduced because there should be no need to replace sensors for 5 years. 

The Kane 455 Infra Red Analyser has been independently tested and approved to BS EN50379 and so far as KANE are aware, it is the only analyser in the world using NDIR technology to have received such approval.

The features and functionality are almost identical to the popular Kane 425.
