Flir E96 Thermal Imaging Camera
The Flir E96 is the most advanced thermal imaging camera in the Exx range. It features a 640 x 480 pixel IR resolution, which can be enhanced to 1.2 megapixels with Flir’s UltaMax enhancement feature to give the clearest images.
Retaining all the features of the E86, the Flir E96 not only has increased IR resolution, but also a 1- 8x continuous digital zoom. As with all other thermal cameras in the Exx range, the E96 has voice annotation, GPS tagging, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, video recording and 1 touch automatic contrast enhancement for easier troubleshooting.
With great power…
The Flir E96 is suitable for a wide range of applications due to its IR resolution, thermal sensitivity (<30 mK @ 30°C (86°F), 42°lens) and accuracy (±2°C or ±2% of the reading). Adding your own additional detail in terms of voice and text annotation whilst out in the field adds even more practicality.
Improve plant reliability and avoid unexpected downtime through routine inspection with a rugged, handheld Exx-Series camera. Vibrant thermal images help manufacturing and facilities inspectors spot overheating equipment so they can immediately diagnose the issue, begin repairs, and prevent equipment failures.
Electrical / Power generation Inspection
Perform thorough surveys, prevent equipment failures, and maintain safety with routine inspections using a 640 × 480 handheld thermal imaging camera. The higher resolution detector allows inspectors to stand at a safe distance when surveying potentially hazardous targets.
Improve energy efficiency and discover insulation voids, roof leaks, HVAC deficiencies and more with the Exx-Series. Instead of wasting time hunting for the problem, users can quickly validate the need for comprehensive repairs and demonstrate the extent of the damage through easily-interpreted thermal images.
Intelligent AutoCal Optics
Interchangeable, auto-calibrating lenses—from telephoto to wide-angle—allow users to target electrical hot spots safely, check for mechanical faults, and survey roofs or building envelopes quickly.
14°, 29 mm lens: A telephoto lens with a narrow field of view that allows the precise and imaging of distant targets.
24°, 17 mm lens: This is the most commonly chosen lens. With a 24° × 18° field of view, the user can remain a safe distance from energised equipment whilst still capturing in focus images.
42°, 10 mm lens: Providing the widest angle and largest filed of view, this lens is most suited to building applications where larger areas need to be captures in one image.
