The Kewtech KT300 digital insulation and continuity tester is a versatile tool for testing in accordance with 18th edition regulations.
Insulation test voltages
The KT300 includes a range of five different test voltages, 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V (1kV). the unit can also be used to determine the breakdown voltage of surge protected devices.
Included with the KT300 is a set of GS38 compliant prods and tips, allowing the user to remain safe and compliant with legislation. A magnetic hanging strap and stand are also included so the KT300 can be positioned conveniently almost anywhere, leaving both hands free for holding the leads. Furthermore, the 'hands free' function means the test will start automatically as soon as a connection is detected.
Continuity testing
For improved continuity measurement accuracy, the KT300 has a lead null feature, which compensates for the resistance of the test leads. Continuity can be measured up to 19.99kΩ. Furthermore, the KT300 has a a buzzer mode.
