The PEL104 Power Energy Logger actively measures and records comprehensive data for energy consumption diagnostics. This advanced device allows for the uninterrupted use and monitoring of energy consumption without the need to disconnect the mains power supply.

Ergonomics

Portable, rugged and compact, its magnetized casing makes it easy to set up, including in an electrical cabinet. The PEL104 is a logger equipped with 3 voltage channels and 3 current channels. No more battery problems, as the logger self-powers directly via the phase by means of the accessory included.

The backlit LCD screen equipped with a triple digital display is particularly easy to read.

The PEL 104 has an SD card that can store several years’ worth of data, making it an ideal function for measurement campaigns.

Measurements

Suitable for all types of electrical networks, the PEL104 automatically recognizes the sensors connected. It measures voltage up 1,000 V_AC/V_DC and current up to 10 kV_AC / 5 kV_DC. Its wide measurement ranges enable it to record power values up to 10 GW/Gvar/GVA, and energy up to 4 EWh/EVAh/Evarh.

The PEL104 is equipped with an Alarm mode, allowing the user to actively define limits. Moreover, the device records a comprehensive list of events based on the defined limits.

Ultra-communicating

The PEL104 actively supports multiple communication modes, including USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wifi, and 3G/GPRS. This enables seamless connectivity options for efficient data transfer and communication capabilities.

The new 3G/GPRS mode allows users to insert a SIM card in the PEL for remote connection via a GSM 3G link. Because measurement campaigns often stretch over several days or weeks, it is important to check that the PEL is functioning correctly during this period.

With all these modes, it is possible to monitor the measurements in real time and recover the measurement data remotely anywhere in the world.

When an alarm is triggered, users can automatically receive an email alert.

Android

In the field, engineers can actively employ the dedicated Android application to validate the proper operation of the PEL and make configuration adjustments. This functionality empowers the measurement of key parameters for motor applications, including rotation speed, torque, and engine efficiency. Consequently, there is no longer a dependency on additional sensors to monitor the real-time behaviour of a motor.

Software

Engineers can employ the PEL Transfer software to actively analyse the data recorded with the PEL100 models. Based on conducted power measurement campaigns, the software autonomously decomposes the detected losses. Additionally, it directly computes the cost of the consumed power, providing the outcome in the selected local currency.

The DATAVIEW software platform facilitates the generation of reports, offering users the capability to actively set alarm thresholds on various measurements. This empowers users to obtain tailored measurement reports that align with their specific requirements.
