Teledyne FLIR T540 Professional Thermal Imaging Camera

The Teledyne FLIR T540 Professional Thermal Imaging Camera serves thermographers and IR service consultants working in power generation, electrical distribution, and manufacturing. It features a high-resolution thermal sensor with 464 x 348 pixels. The camera captures clear thermal images and videos across a broad temperature range of -20˚C to 1500˚C. The camera’s exceptional thermal sensitivity of 30mK (±0.03˚C) ensures precise detection of thermal anomalies.

For inspections in challenging or hard-to-reach locations, the Teledyne FLIR T540 boasts an auto-rotating optical block with a 180˚ view. The bright 4” colour touch screen complements this feature. This versatile display supports various colour palettes, enhancing usability. The laser distance measurement feature assesses component accessibility, displaying the distance on-screen, while remote area measurement aids in evaluating temperature-related issues. Time-lapse imaging over 24 hours further enhances fault detection capabilities, capturing intermittent problems effectively.

Digital zoom capabilities (1-6x) allow detailed focus on critical areas, augmented by MSX® image enhancement, which integrates digital camera details with thermal images. Laser-assisted autofocus ensures image clarity, while additional functionalities like spot measurement, hot/cold spot detection, and picture-in-picture imaging enhance diagnostic precision. METERLiNK® via Bluetooth displays quantitative data from compatible FLIR meters directly on-screen.

The T540 saves image and radiometric video files with GPS and timestamp data on an 8GB SD card. Users can transfer files to smart devices through USB, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi. This connection also supports live video streaming via FLIR Thermal Studio Suite software. The intuitive menu and touch screen operation ensure ease of use, even in difficult environments. The interchangeable AutoCal lenses, available in 24˚, 42˚, and 14˚ options, add practicality and cost-efficiency. The camera comes with comprehensive accessories and a robust 2-10 year warranty.
