Fluke 28 II Ex Intrinsically Safe True-RMS Digital Multimeter
The Fluke 28 II Ex is the intrinsically safe version of the Fluke 28 II true RMS digital multimeter. It features a completely sealed IP67 rated case making it both water and dust proof, as well as drop tested to 3m (with holster). This makes the Fluke 28 II EX one of the most rugged and robust multimeters on the market.
Designed for those working in the petroleum, chemical or pharmaceutical environment, you can now test and troubleshoot wherever you go with the Fluke 28 II EX multimeter, inside or outside ATEX zones IIC (gas) Zone 1 and 2 and IIIC (dust), Zone 21 and 22. Furthermore, with the 28 II EX you don’t need to carry different meters for different areas, or be concerned when crossing through potential EX rated zones with a non EX rated instrument.
The 28 II Ex can be used to measure AC / DC voltage from 0.1mV to 1000V, AC / DC current from 0.1µA to 10A and resistance from 0.1Ω to 50MΩ. It can also carry out conductance (60.00nS), diode test (2.0V), duty cycle (0.0% to 99.9%), capacitance (10nF to 9999µF, frequency (0.5Hz to 199.99kHz) and temperature measurement (-200˚C to + 1900˚C.).

The Fluke 28 II Ex is lightweight (less than 700g) and powered by 3 AA batteries which provide up to 400 hours battery life. The screen is back lit for use in poorly lit areas. Additionally, the unit is protected by a rubber holster with an integrated stand for convenience. The holster can be reversed to protect the screen when not in use.
