The Fluke 87V MAX has been designed for high performance in the most extreme work environments.

The Fluke 87V MAX True RMS multimeter is drop tested to 4 meters, plus it is encased in an industrial strength case and holster. The holster doubles as test probe holder and can also be removed for easy cleaning. Furthermore, the unit is IP67 rated, making it waterproof and dustproof.

The 87V MAX can also operate within an extended temperature range of between -40 °C (for up to 20 minutes) to +55 °C. It can also be used at altitudes up to 2000 meters.

Battery life is also twice that of the standard Fluke 87V at up to 800 hours and is provided from three AA batteries.
