The high resolution Hikmicro G40 thermal imaging camera combines high performance with surprising affordability. With a thermal resolution of 480 x 360, the G40 offers 172,800 pixels (temperature reference points) per image, providing a crisp and detailed thermal image.

The range of focus modes means no matter what the image or video is of, it will always be in focus. The auto focus options provide a simple solution to crisp images, whilst the manual focus allows complete control.

The laser assisted focus uses the built in laser distance meter to ‘snap’ images into focus with just a pull of the trigger.

3.5 inch touch screen

Navigate using the touch screen or buttons. Either way, the logical menu system makes adjustments quick and easy.

The 3.5 inch displays images with great clarity, plus features 1 tap level and span, allowing the user to focus on an area of an image by narrowing the span with one tap of the screen.

Super smooth 50Hz frame rate

Other Hikmicro cameras use 25Hz frame rate for smooth video and movement. The G series utilises 50Hz frame rate for even smoother video.

The higher frame rate also makes scanning with the G40 smoother, as the image on screen refreshes quicker, reducing lag. This means the camera can be used to scan larger areas quicker, compared to other camera models in the Hikmicro range.

4 image modes

The Hikmicro has two cameras, thermal and digital. Therefore the G40 can fuse detail from the two cameras to provide highly detailed images. Outline details form the digital image can be fused with the pure thermal image. Take a look at the image mode examples below…

Wi-Fi connectivity

Connect the Hikmicro G40 to a smart device, which can then be used as a second screen, ideal for longer monitoring periods or where it is safer to take measurements form a distance.

With the free to download Hikmicro Analyser software, you can easily create professional looking reports that can then be emailed to you client or colleagues.
