Megger PVM210 Irradiance Meter
Designed specifically for the solar/photovoltaic industry, the Megger PVM210 Irradiance Meter is a compact and portable device suitable for one-handed operation. This feature proves invaluable, especially when used on inclined rooftops or whilst climbing ladders. Its primary function is to measure solar power at any given location, aiding in selecting the optimal position for solar panels.
The device boasts a sharp 3.75” LCD display that incorporates a hold function to capture readings. When paired with an ammeter, the PVM210 can ascertain short circuit current values, assisting in corroborating figures supplied by solar panel manufacturers. Users have the flexibility to receive readings in either W/m^2 or BTU.
Battery life is substantial at approximately 50 hours, and an auto power-off function further ensures efficient energy consumption. Additionally, the Megger PVM210 can be securely mounted via a universal camera thread for enhanced measurement accuracy. For storage and protection, it comes with a handy pouch.
