Kane 460 HVACR & IAQ Analyser

The Kane 460 HVACR & IAQ Analyser is a versatile and portable instrument that is perfect for various applications. It eliminates the need for a manifold or hose during the installation, commissioning, and servicing of boilers, heat pumps, AC, and refrigeration systems. With the Kane 460, users can effortlessly test both domestic and commercial heating and hot water systems, while also performing safety checks for CO presence in a room or around appliances. Furthermore, when commissioning boilers, the Kane 460 allows for sweep and room CO migration tests, as well as measurements of building IAQ and ventilation.

Advanced Features and Accurate Measurements

One of the standout features of the Kane 460 is its 2psi/160 mbar pressure sensor, which enables users to conduct Flue draught, system, and tightness tests. Additionally, by utilising the Kane 460 alongside a Kane LINK wireless device, users can measure temperature flow and return with high and low readings, as well as high and low side pressures.

The Kane 460 provides an extensive range of test readings that cater to a wide spectrum of applications. It offers CO measurements ranging from 0-10,000 ppm, H2 compensated with over range protection. Users can also measure O2 levels from 0-21%, and have the option to include NO measurements ranging from 0-5,000 ppm. Other measurements include temperature (inlet/flue gas), differential pressure/ambient, high accuracy differential pressure (+/- 160mba), CO2 calculations (0-99%), CO/CO2 ratio calculations, excess air calculations, A/C and refrigeration sub cooling and superheat measurements, and combustion efficiency calculations.

User-friendly Design and Accessories

The usability of the Kane 460 is another notable aspect of this analyser. It features a user-friendly interface with a large, backlit display and a straightforward menu system. The analyser comes equipped with various accessories, including a flue gas probe, a protective rubber sleeve, a battery charger, a test report, and a carrying case. Notably, the Kane 460 is safeguarded against vapour damage by the Hydrophobic water trap.

Fuel Types and Refrigerant Detection

What sets the Kane 460 apart is its ability to measure a wide range of fuel types, including Natural Gas, LPG, Butane, Propane, Light Oil, Heavy Oil, and user-specific fuels. Moreover, it can also detect over 40 refrigerants, such as R22, R32, R134a, R290, and R410A.
