The Megger MFT1731 18th Edition Tester, fully loaded and advanced, reliably handles a wide array of testing scenarios. Consecutively, it combines the key notable features of its predecessors, such as the EN 61010 CAT IV safety rating, 3 and 2-wire non-trip loop testing, and a bright, backlit display screen. Moreover, its user-friendly design includes ‘LOCK’ and ‘TEST’ buttons on both sides, accommodating all users effectively.
Furthermore, the 1731 Multifunction Tester caters to both novice and experienced users, featuring Type B RCD Testing and TRMS. Additionally, it sets itself apart with advanced earth electrode testing options, including 3-pole ART electrode testing and stakeless electrode testing, with clamps available as optional accessories. It also includes a set of rechargeable batteries (charger provided), ensuring long-lasting use.
With attention to data storage, thee Megger MFt31 is capable of storing up to 1,000 results with its onboard memory. Also, Bluetooth connectivity allows easy downloading of results to a PC using the provided Megger Download Manager. - Loop testing includes 2 and 3 wire non-trip loop impedance and fast 2 wire high current loop for unprotected circuits. Additionally, it also manages line to line tests for three-phase installations.
- The continuity testing feature, with a 200mA auto start, is perfect for R1+R2 and R2 testing, including a 15mA test option.
- Undeniably comprehensive RCD testing, ranging from 10mA to 500mA, comes with Auto RCD and ramp test, variable and selective RCD testing, and Type B RCD testing, suitable for 3 Phase RCDs.
- Insulation Resistance testing, offering 100V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V tests, includes a buzzer threshold.
- Earth Testing encompasses 2 & 3 pole tests, plus ART and Stakeless testing, with additional accessories as needed.
