TPI’s 9080-Ex is a simple, easy-to-use vibration analyser that records, analyses and displays vibration signals at the push of a button. With an intrinsically-safe rating, it is suitable for use in hazardous (ATEX and IECEx) environments, and can measure frequencies up to 10kHz. The IP67 rating of the outer casing also certifies that the instrument is waterproof and sturdy.

Vibration issues can be identified automatically–be they to do with unbalance, misalignment or looseness–in addition to analysis of the the bearing condition. The high specification FFT display allows readings to be displayed in a graphical format. This integrates seamlessly with the VibTrend software, included as standard, which helps the user to visualise fault patterns and  boasts an easy-to-use and flexible interface. This also allows the storage of unlimited readings.

The 9080-EX can be used with non-intrinsically safe accessories in non-hazardous areas
