Extech MO260 Combination Pin/Pinless Moisture Meter
The Extech MO260 Combination Pin/Pinless Moisture Meter helps users find moisture quickly in timber, plasterboard and many building materials. It combines invasive and non-invasive testing in one handheld unit. This gives you more ways to check materials before repair work or inspections begin.
Using its pinless mode, the meter measures relative moisture without leaving marks on the surface. The sensor can scan to a depth of 22 mm, making it useful for flooring, walls and finished surfaces. In addition, the backlit LCD and tri-colour LED bar graph make readings easy to view in low light.
Dual Measurement Technology
The Extech MO260 Combination Pin/Pinless Moisture Meter also features twin threaded pins for direct moisture readings. Pin mode provides wood moisture equivalent measurements from 6.0% to 94.8% WME with fine 0.1% resolution. This allows more detailed testing when exact moisture values are required.
Built-in calibration checks help maintain reliable performance over time. Replaceable electrode pins reduce maintenance costs and make the instrument suitable for regular use. A low battery indicator also lets the user know when the battery needs changing.
