EV Charge Point Testing

As more and more consumers see the benefits of driving an electric car over one powered by fossil-fuel, the UK Market for Electric Vehicles (EVs) is increasing steadily year after year. The number of charging stations is also on the rise, meaning that all public and private charging point installations must comply with 18th Edition Regulations.

A reliable EVSE tester is essential for the maintenance and testing of electrical charging systems. Test4Less stocks a range of affordable EV charger testers by leading manufacturers such as Metrel, Fluke, Kewtech and Amprobe. These charge point testers can be used to test charge stations throughout the UK and are suitable for business and domestic use.

To ensure you select the correct multifunction tester for your purpose, we recommend comparing the product specifications between listings, as not all testers carry out all functions. Many of our products are listed with accompanying datasheets and specification tables for reference. Multifunction testers can also be further broken down into those with internal memory (downloadable) and those without (non-downloadable). Downloadable testers are available at a higher price point due to the ability to store test data and connect to PC software. Non-downloadable testers offer a more cost-effective solution where test results need to be logged manually.
