The Megger 1013-451 MCB2100 Battery Charger is a direct replacement charger for the Megger MFT-X1 multifunction tester battery system. It is made for use with the Megger X1 multifunction tester only. This gives users the correct charger for supported lithium-ion battery packs.
Built for Li-ion cells, this charger helps maintain battery performance during charging. It protects the battery pack from overcharging, which can help support battery life. As a result, users can charge with more control between test jobs.
This charger can be used with the supplied battery packs for the Megger X1 tester. It can also charge the optional Megger 1013-450 battery pack when that pack is used with the unit. Therefore, the Megger 1013-451 MCB2100 Battery Charger supports a practical power routine for regular site work.
Megger’s battery pack system allows the rechargeable Li-ion pack to be swapped with the AA carrier module. This gives two different set types for the tester power system, using either the rechargeable Li-ion battery pack set type or the AA carrier module set type. The charger is for the Li-ion pack only and is not stated for charging AA cells.
