Kewtech 2056R AC/DC Clampmeter True RMS combines clamp current measurement with digital multimeter functions in one instrument. It measures AC and DC current up to 1000A and AC and DC voltage up to 600V. True RMS measurement provides accurate readings even when working with distorted sine waves, while the CAT IV 600V safety specification supports testing on demanding electrical circuits.
For wider electrical testing, the instrument also measures resistance, frequency, capacitance and temperature. Continuity and diode check functions support routine fault finding, while the LED non-contact voltage indicator provides another way to detect voltage. Temperature measurement is available from -50°C to +300°C when used with the optional KEW8216 temperature probe.
Kewtech 2056R AC/DC Clampmeter True RMS also includes Min/Max memory for extended testing and a PEAK Hold function for measuring peak starting current on the ACA range.
