CIE Volt Stick LV12EX AC Intrinsically-Safe Voltage Tester
CIE Volt Stick LV12EX AC Intrinsically-Safe Voltage Tester is a voltage indicator designed for non-contact safety checking. It detects AC voltage across a 12 to 1000V range and responds immediately when voltage is detected. Its lower 12V sensitivity supports the identification of unexpected or live voltages in materials, devices and workspaces.
Developed for utility field engineers, the tester can be used to check metallic surfaces, pipework and cables for potentially dangerous voltage. A safety handguard helps to reduce the chance of unintended contact with live conductors, while the fully insulated construction supports safe use. The indicator can illuminate at a distance of 4mm from a 2.5mm conductor carrying 12V.
CIE Volt Stick LV12EX AC Intrinsically-Safe Voltage Tester is suitable for hazardous and potentially explosive atmospheres, including gas and petrochemical applications. It is ATEX and IECEx approved for intrinsically safe operation, with approvals Ex ib IIB T3 Gb and IECEx ExV 16.0018. The tester also carries a CAT IV 1000V AC overvoltage rating, IP64 ingress protection and UKCA and CE approval.
Key Benefits
