Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 Earth Tester
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 Earth Tester gives you one practical unit for earth resistance, soil resistivity, earth coupling and continuity checks. It is built for site work, so it combines clear operation with a strong and compact design.
With its rotary switch and front panel access, you can move through each test quickly and keep setup simple. In addition, the large backlit LCD helps you read values with ease in bright areas and in poor light.
Built for clear field testing
Colour-coded terminals make stake connection easier and help reduce wiring errors during setup. The Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 also runs a self-check at the start of each measurement, so it can flag bad connections or disturbance signals before they affect the result.
For demanding ground conditions, the instrument supports a wide measurement range from 0.001 Ω to 100 kΩ. As a result, it can handle low resistance checks as well as work in highly resistive soils.
Fast data handling and advanced calculation
When you need to log results on site, this tester stores up to 512 measurements in memory for later review. It also includes a USB communication output, which lets you move saved data to a PC for further processing with Ground Tester Transfer software.
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6471 helps speed up more complex tests as well. It can calculate earth coupling after three successive measurements, and it can also calculate soil resistivity using Wenner or Schlumberger methods once you enter the test distances.
