The CIE Volt Stick BRIGHT Voltage Tester provides instant, non-contact checking for the presence of AC voltage. It can be used to check whether cables, wires, electrical sockets, switches and fuses are live without making direct electrical contact. Dual sensitivity settings give the user a standard range for mains voltage work and a high-sensitivity range for lower-voltage AC detection.
A forward-facing white LED torch is built into the tip, helping illuminate the area being tested rather than lighting from the rear of the instrument. The CIE Volt Stick BRIGHT Voltage Tester also combines bright LED and audible indication when voltage is detected. Its universal flat testing tip is designed to fit most electrical sockets worldwide, including those used in the UK, Australia, Japan, USA and Germany.
For dependable day-to-day operation, the tester remains ready without a separate on/off switch and enters a low-power sleep mode when not in use.
