Precise Air Velocity

Extech AN300 uses a 100 mm low-friction vane to sample air speed from 0.2 m/s up to 30 m/s. The wide span lets you test slow room vents or fast process lines with equal confidence. In addition, the ±1.5 % accuracy and real-time display mean results are clear on site.

Quick Air Volume Checks

With duct size keyed in, Extech AN300 instantly shows flow in cubic feet or cubic metres per minute up to 99 999. This direct read-out removes the need for manual maths, so reports are ready sooner. Coupled with the MIN/MAX and average modes, technicians gain repeatable data for trend logs.

The built-in thermometer covers −20 °C to 60 °C, letting you spot comfort issues or heat losses in one pass. Furthermore, the low-mass sensor reacts in seconds, which speeds up HVAC balancing. The Extech AN300 Large Vane Thermo-Anemometer is built for quick and accurate airflow checks in HVAC systems, process lines and ventilation work. Its large 100 mm vane helps reduce turbulence effects and gives stable readings in wide ducts. At the same time, the built-in thermometer lets users check air temperature without changing instruments.

Designed for field work, the meter measures air velocity from very low air movement through to fast airflow applications. It also calculates airflow volume in both CFM and CMM, helping engineers balance systems and complete reports faster. A clear dual-line display shows values in real time and keeps important data easy to read.

Fast Airflow Measurements

Because the Extech AN300 Large Vane Thermo-Anemometer combines several functions in one handheld unit, technicians can move from one test point to another with less effort. MIN, MAX and AVG modes make it easy to monitor changing conditions. In addition, the hold function keeps readings on screen for later recording.

The instrument uses four standard AAA batteries and includes automatic power-off to extend operating life. Its light 200 g design reduces fatigue during long inspections and fits easily into a tool bag. The included hard case also protects the meter during transport between jobs.
