Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer

Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer uses a large vane to take precise airflow readings at larger extraction vents and fans. It measures air velocity, airflow and air temperature, making it suitable for larger ducts where users need dependable airflow readings. The instrument combines CFM/CMM anemometer and psychrometer functions in one unit.

Users can also measure relative humidity, wet bulb temperature and dew point alongside airflow and temperature. This gives the Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer several air measurement functions within a single instrument. Min/Max and Data Hold functions let users review minimum and maximum values or hold a reading during testing.

Auto power off helps manage routine use, while the supplied hard carrying case makes transport and storage easier. Four supplied AAA batteries power the meter. Users can also purchase an optional air cone kit for volumetric extraction measurements that comply with Document F, Part L of the building regulations.

Key Benefits
  • Large vane design supports precise readings at larger extraction vents and fans.
  • Measures air velocity and airflow from the same portable instrument.
  • Adds temperature and relative humidity measurement for wider air testing.
  • Wet bulb and dew point functions provide extra psychrometric measurement options.
  • Min/Max allows users to review minimum and maximum measured values.
  • Data Hold keeps a reading available for easier viewing and recording.
  • Auto power off helps manage battery use when the meter is left on.
  • Optional air cone kit supports volumetric extraction measurements where required.
  • Hard carrying case provides a convenient way to transport and store the instrument.

Common Applications

Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer is suitable for a range of testing, maintenance and inspection tasks, including:

  • Air velocity measurement at larger extraction vents
  • Airflow measurement at larger extraction fans
  • Air volume measurement in CFM
  • Air volume measurement in CMM
  • Air temperature measurement
  • Relative humidity measurement
  • Wet bulb temperature measurement
  • Dew point measurement
  • Volumetric extraction measurement using the optional air cone kit
  • Extraction measurements complying with Document F, Part L of the building regulations when using the optional air cone kit

Why Choose This Model?

Compared with the Extech AN300 Anemometer, the AN310 adds relative humidity, wet bulb and dew point measurement while retaining airspeed, airflow and temperature functions. Its large vane design is also stated to provide precise readings on larger extraction vents and fans.

Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer

Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer is a large vane CFM/CMM anemometer and psychrometer designed to take precise airflow readings at larger extraction vents and fans. It measures air velocity and airflow as well as air temperature. Its large vane design makes it suited to larger-size ducts where airflow readings are required.

Alongside airflow and temperature, the meter measures relative humidity, wet bulb temperature and dew point. This gives users several air measurement functions within one instrument. Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer also provides Min/Max and Data Hold functions, allowing measured values to be reviewed or held during testing.

An Auto power off function is included for routine use, while the supplied hard carrying case helps with transport and storage. The meter operates from four AAA batteries, which are supplied with the instrument. For volumetric extraction measurements, Extech AN310 Large Vane Anemometer can also be purchased with an optional air cone kit for measurements that comply with Document F, Part L of the building regulations.
