Designed for permanent installation, the FLIR Si2a-PD Industrial Fixed Acoustic Imaging Camera combines 124 low-noise MEMS microphones with advanced AI-assisted analysis for reliable fault detection. It continuously listens for acoustic events while classifying discharge types automatically. As a result, operators receive clear information with minimal manual input.
Continuous Asset Monitoring
Unlike handheld inspection tools, this camera operates around the clock and provides constant monitoring of substations, switchgear, transformers and gas insulated switchgear. It supports fixed installation using a VESA mounting interface and an IP66 enclosure for demanding industrial environments. In addition, Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by supplying both power and network connectivity through a single cable.
Data integrates easily into existing monitoring systems through REST API support together with MQTT, SMTP, FTP and RTSP protocols. Users can configure alarms, define monitoring zones and capture images through the web-based configurator. Furthermore, reports and recorded data can be reviewed using FLIR Acoustic Viewer or FLIR Assetlink for wider asset management.
