Fluke 789 Process Multimeter & IR3000FC Connector Kit

Fluke 789 Process Multimeter & IR3000FC Connector Kit combines a digital multimeter and loop calibrator in one rugged handheld instrument. It provides True RMS electrical measurement alongside DC current sourcing, simulation and loop calibration functions. A built-in 24 V loop supply also reduces the need to carry a separate power supply when testing transmitters.

For process and instrumentation work, the meter provides manual and automatic current adjustment, including coarse, fine, 25% and 100% steps, plus slow ramp and fast ramp functions. Dedicated 0% and 100% controls allow quick switching between 4 mA and 20 mA for span checks. A selectable built-in 250 ohm HART resistor can be used with loop power, while the large dual display shows mA and percentage of scale at the same time.

Fluke 789 Process Multimeter & IR3000FC Connector Kit also adds wireless connectivity through the included IR3000FC connector for use with Fluke Connect. An infrared port supports transfer of logged data to optional FlukeView Forms software for graphical analysis and reporting. Min, Max, Average, Hold and Relative modes, frequency measurement, resistance, diode testing and continuity checking add further flexibility for electrical and process troubleshooting.

Key Benefits
  • Combines digital multimeter and loop calibrator functions in one handheld tool.
  • Built-in 24 V loop power reduces the need for a separate supply during transmitter testing.
  • DC current source, simulate and loop calibration functions support process signal work.
  • 0% and 100% buttons provide quick 4 mA and 20 mA switching for span checks.
  • Manual step, automatic step and ramp controls make current adjustment faster and easier.
  • Dual display allows simultaneous viewing of mA and percentage of scale.
  • Two backlight brightness settings improve display visibility.
  • IR3000FC connectivity enables wireless data logging with Fluke Connect.
  • Infrared data transfer supports analysis and reporting with optional FlukeView Forms software.
