Fluke 80PK-25 SureGrip Piercing Temperature Probe
The Fluke 80PK-25 SureGrip Piercing Temperature Probe uses a Type K thermocouple for direct insertion temperature measurements. Its sharp needle-style point penetrates foods, liquids, gels and semi-solid materials, while the 316 stainless steel sheath supports food service use within the stated operating conditions.

A miniature Type K thermocouple connector lets you use the probe with compatible temperature-measuring instruments that accept Type K thermocouples and provide cold reference junction compensation. The probe uses a standard grade Ni-Cr versus Ni-Al thermocouple, while a grounded junction connects directly to the sheath. A one-metre cable gives you useful reach between the measurement point and the connected instrument.

The Fluke 80PK-25 SureGrip Piercing Temperature Probe combines a 25° conical tip with a 101.6 mm stainless steel sheath and a food-service-grade Hytrel handle. Insert the probe at least 31.75 mm into the material to reduce the shunting effect of the sheath during measurement. A one-year warranty covers the probe.

Key Benefits
  • Sharp piercing tip supports direct temperature measurement in foods and other soft or semi-solid materials.
  • Suitable for measuring liquids and gels as well as solid and semi-solid food products.
  • 316 stainless steel sheath provides a food-service-suitable probe surface within the stated use conditions.
  • Miniature Type K connector allows connection to compatible Type K temperature-measuring instruments.
  • One-metre cable gives practical separation between the measurement point and the connected instrument.
  • Grounded junction is welded to the sheath for the stated thermocouple construction.
  • Three-second time constant in 100 °C still water provides a defined response characteristic for measurement planning.
  • 25° conical tip and narrow 3.4036 mm sheath support piercing insertion into suitable materials.
  • Food-service-grade Hytrel is used for both the handle and connector housing.
  • One-year warranty supports the probe after purchase.

Common Applications

Fluke 80PK-25 SureGrip Piercing Temperature Probe is suitable for a range of testing, maintenance and inspection tasks, including:

  • Piercing temperature measurements in food products.
  • Direct temperature measurement in liquids.
  • Temperature measurement in gels.
  • Temperature checks in semi-solid materials.
  • Food service temperature checks on wet foods.
  • Food service temperature checks on dry foods.
  • Food service temperature checks on fatty foods.
  • Measurements where food alcohol content is below 8%.

Why Choose This Model?

The Fluke 80PK-25 SureGrip Piercing Temperature Probe combines a sharp 25° conical tip, 316 stainless steel sheath, Type K thermocouple output and miniature connector for direct insertion measurements in foods, liquids, gels and semi-solid materials.
