The Fluke FEV500 Fast DC EV Charging Station Analyser is a portable, field-ready tool designed to simplify testing, validation and documentation of Fast DC chargers. Combining safety, performance and interoperability checks in one device, it allows technicians to perform comprehensive diagnostics without the need for an electric vehicle on site.

The FEV500 is compliant with ISO 15118 and DIN SPEC 70121 for digital communication between electric vehicles and electric vehicle supply equipment. It has also been tested for compatibility with most major EVSE manufacturers.

Efficient Testing Workflow

The FEV500 simulates real EV charging up to 2.4 kW, verifying charger communication and power performance through a single CCS connection. Guided test workflows, an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen and one-button Autotest sequences with clear PASS/FAIL results support fast, consistent and repeatable testing.

It combines performance and safety testing in one device and can simulate electric vehicle charging during testing without additional load banks, electric vehicles or multifunction testers. Automatic data capture and integration with Fluke TruTest™ software support reporting and documentation, while unique EVSE and connection point IDs can be tracked and stored for asset management.

Built for Field Use

The Fluke FEV500 has a rugged, wheeled hard case and a removable lithium-ion battery for field mobility. No external power source required. Its ultra-bright display is readable in bright sunlight, and the unit is designed to help identify performance or communication faults before they cause downtime.
