Kane 958 Commercial Boiler Analyser

Kane 958 Commercial Boiler Analyser handles combustion testing on commercial, industrial and marine boilers up to 5 MW, including applications with stack draught up to 50 bar. It measures oxygen and carbon monoxide as standard and uses hydrogen compensation for the CO sensor. Users can add optional NO, NO2 and SO2 sensor configurations or replace the standard CO sensor with a 0–10% CO sensor when required.

The analyser also measures differential temperature from -20 to +135°C and differential pressure up to ±160 mbar. It calculates CO2, CO/CO2 ratio, excess air and combustion efficiency, with optional NOx calculation. These functions support combustion performance checks, efficiency testing, structured let-by and tightness tests, flue draught testing, and boiler or heat pump flow and return temperature measurements.

A rotary dial and large display make daily operation simple, while the protective magnetic sleeve allows hands-free use. The purge pump helps protect the CO sensor, and the hydrophobic filter helps prevent water damage. KANE LINK enables wireless measurement, while the KANE LIVE app lets users see, save and send test results for easier recording and transfer.

Key Benefits
  • Measures O2 and CO as standard for routine combustion testing.
  • Hydrogen-compensated CO measurement supports use with hydrogen-ready systems containing up to 20% H2.
  • Optional NO, NO2 and SO2 sensors expand the analyser for additional gas measurement requirements.
  • Purge pump helps reduce the risk of damage to the CO sensor during use.
  • Hydrophobic filtration, water trap and particle filtration help protect the analyser from moisture and contaminants.
  • Large display and rotary dial provide clear, simple control during testing.
  • Protective magnetic sleeve allows convenient hands-free positioning.
  • KANE LINK supports wireless measurements and connection to compatible wireless accessories.
  • KANE LIVE app transfer allows test results to be seen, saved and sent.
  • Infrared connectivity supports use with the optional KANE-IRP3 printer.

Common Applications

Kane 958 Commercial Boiler Analyser is suitable for a range of testing, maintenance and inspection tasks, including:

  • Commercial boiler combustion testing up to 5 MW.
  • Industrial boiler combustion testing.
  • Marine boiler combustion testing.
  • Combustion performance and efficiency assessment.
  • Structured let-by and tightness tests.
  • Flue draught testing.
  • Boiler and heat pump flow and return temperature measurement.
  • Indoor air quality checks for room CO migration, temperature, relative humidity and airflow when used with compatible KANE LINK accessories.

Why Choose This Model?

Kane 958 Commercial Boiler Analyser combines combustion gas measurement, differential temperature and pressure testing with KANE LINK wireless functions in one analyser. Optional additional gas sensors and accessories allow the instrument to be configured for wider commercial boiler testing requirements.

Kane 958 Commercial Boiler Analyser

Kane 958 Commercial Boiler Analyser is designed for combustion testing on commercial, industrial and marine boilers up to 5 MW, including applications with stack draught up to 50 bar. It measures oxygen and carbon monoxide as standard, with hydrogen compensation for the CO sensor. Optional sensor configurations extend testing to NO, NO2 and SO2, while a 0–10% CO sensor can replace the standard CO sensor where required.

Alongside gas measurement, the analyser supports differential temperature from -20 to +135°C and differential pressure of ±160 mbar. It calculates CO2, CO/CO2 ratio, excess air and combustion efficiency, with NOx calculation available as an option. This combination supports combustion performance checks, efficiency work, structured let-by and tightness testing, flue draught testing and boiler or heat pump flow and return temperature measurement.

Daily operation is kept straightforward with a rotary dial and large display, while the protective magnetic sleeve supports hands-free use. A purge pump helps protect the CO sensor, and the hydrophobic filter helps prevent water damage. KANE LINK adds wireless measurement capability, while test results can be seen, saved and sent to the KANE LIVE app for convenient recording and transfer.
