Martindale DT175 Dual Input K Type Digital Thermometer

The Martindale DT175 Dual Input K Type Digital Thermometer measures two temperatures at the same time. It accepts two K Type thermocouple probes and displays readings in either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit. Its broad measurement range supports temperature checks across many types of systems and equipment.

Differential mode shows the difference between the two connected thermocouple readings. This makes the instrument useful when comparing input and output temperatures or checking the effectiveness of a heating system. Min, max and average recording also helps users review changes and extremes over a period of time.

A large backlit display makes readings easier to see in a range of working environments. The compact instrument comes with a tough holster and includes a fold-away built-in stand for a suitable viewing angle. An adjustable offset also allows the user to optimise thermocouple performance across the required temperature range.

Key Benefits
  • Measures two temperature points simultaneously.
  • Displays the difference between connected probes for quick system comparisons.
  • Supports input and output temperature checks on systems and equipment.
  • Records minimum, maximum and average readings over time.
  • Provides a large backlit display for easier viewing.
  • Offers Celsius and Fahrenheit display options.
  • Accepts standard miniature thermocouple connectors for access to a wide range of compatible K Type probes.
  • Includes an adjustable offset to optimise thermocouple performance.
  • Uses a fold-away stand to provide a practical viewing angle.
  • Provides up to 200 hours of battery life.

Common Applications

Martindale DT175 Dual Input K Type Digital Thermometer is suitable for a range of testing, maintenance and inspection tasks, including:

  • Comparing heating system input and output temperatures.
  • Checking temperature differences across heating systems.
  • Measuring two points on systems or equipment at the same time.
  • Recording minimum, maximum and average temperatures over time.
  • Air temperature measurement with a compatible K Type air probe.
  • Penetration temperature checks with a compatible K Type penetration probe.
  • Clamp-on temperature measurement with a compatible K Type clamp probe.
  • Surface temperature checks with a compatible K Type surface probe.

Why Choose This Model?

The DT175 provides two temperature inputs and differential measurement, while the DT173 is a single-input model without differential measurement. It also includes two K Type thermocouples rather than the single thermocouple supplied with the DT173.
