The PAT Training course begins with an introduction to portable appliance testing. You will get an overview of the functions and operation of the required test instruments.
Next, the course covers appliance types and equipment classes you will commonly encounter. You will learn the specific tests applied to each appliance type. Our tutor will demonstrate every PAT test using sample equipment. You will then get hands-on practice with the test instruments.
The course ends with a Q&A session. This gives you time to ask questions, seek clarification, and receive personalised guidance.
Using up-to-date portable appliance testers and PAT Testing software, you will learn to carry out the full range of required tests. You will work on a variety of typical appliances.
