Course Overview
Our Safe Isolation Training covers the basics of isolating electrical circuits safely.
Safe isolation is important when work is required on an electrical circuit or system – you can make sure it‘s deemed “dead” and therefore safe for you to work on.
The course starts with an explanation of the relevant guidance materials available and an introduction to electrical safety.
The course then explores the tools and test equipment needed to safely isolate electrical installations and equipment.
Concluding with a Q&A session giving those attending the chance to ask individual questions and seek clarification and guidance.
The course is based around the guidance issued by the Electrical Safety Council, HSE Guidance Note GS38 and the Memorandum of Guidance on the Electricity at Work Regulations. This course is delivered by one of our trained staff in an informal yet informative presentation.
