TPI 505L Digital Hand Tachometer
The TPI 505L Digital Hand Tachometer accurately measures surface speeds on belts and wheels, making it a versatile tool for various applications. It uses both a laser photo tachometer sensor, with a maximum range of 30 metres, and a contact sensor. The device measures speeds in RPM, up to 30,000, and in metres or feet per minute, up to 3046 metres per minute, with an accuracy of ±0.1%. A simple test involves pointing it at a fluorescent light, where you should expect a reading of approximately 7200 RPM (±5 RPM).
With its intuitive interface, the TPI 505L has clearly labelled buttons and an LCD display. It can store the minimum, maximum, and last recorded values, allowing for thorough system performance analysis. The tripod connection provides added stability, enabling hands-free operation and reducing movement-related errors. The package includes a contact cone adaptor, contact funnel adaptor, contact wheel adapter, reflective tape, and a carry case. A three-year warranty also covers the product.
