TPI 505L Photo & Contact Hand Tachometer
The TPI 505L Digital Hand Tachometer is a versatile instrument designed for precise measurement of surface speeds on belts and wheels. Utilizing both a laser photo tachometer sensor (with a 30m max range) and a contact sensor, it can gauge speeds in RPM (up to 30,000) and in meters or feet per minute (up to 3046m/min) with an accuracy of ±0.1%. A simple test involves pointing it at a fluorescent light to expect a reading of approximately 7200 RPM (±5 RPM).
With its user-friendly interface, the TPI 505L features clearly marked buttons and an LCD display. It can store the minimum, maximum, and last recorded value, offering a comprehensive analysis of system performance. A tripod connection is integrated for stable, hands-free operation, minimizing errors due to movement. The package includes a contact cone adaptor, contact funnel adaptor, contact wheel adapter, reflective tape, and a carry case. The product is backed by a three-year warranty.
