The TPI GEK2021 Gas Essential Kit brings together four test instruments for gas engineers, maintenance teams and site staff. It supports gas leak detection, live AC voltage checks and two forms of temperature measurement. For gas work, the supplied TPI 725L Gas Sniffer detects methane at a sensitivity greater than 40 ppm. Its adjustable tick rate helps the user trace a source, while the null function reduces the effect of background gas. The TPI 50 Volt Stick also provides bright LED and audible alerts when it identifies AC voltage from 50 V to 1000 V.
Temperature checks are covered by the TPI 368 IR Thermometer and TPI 312C Pocket Thermometer. The infrared instrument measures surfaces without contact from -22 °C to 120 °C, making it useful for rapid checks of pipework and vents.
