T&R 200 ADM-P Secondary Current Injection System

The T&R 200 ADM-P Secondary Current Injection System provides a flexible solution for testing protection devices and current relay systems. It delivers high output currents while maintaining stable and accurate measurement performance. As a result, engineers can test protection equipment, relays and control systems with confidence.

In addition, the system offers precise True RMS metering with fast capture capability. This allows accurate measurement of current, voltage and timing behaviour during relay operation. The T&R 200 ADM-P therefore supports reliable commissioning, maintenance and diagnostic testing within power system environments.

Advanced Injection and Measurement

Built for demanding electrical testing tasks, the unit supplies injection currents from 1 mA up to 200 A AC. At the same time, the auxiliary AC output can deliver voltage up to 260 V or current up to 10 A depending on the test requirement. Because phase and frequency can be adjusted, technicians can simulate realistic operating conditions for voltage and current relays.

The integrated auxiliary metering input measures voltage, current, phase, frequency and harmonic content. Furthermore, when combined with the main current output, the system can also calculate impedance, power and CT ratio values. These functions allow a detailed view of device behaviour during testing.

Data Capture and Relay Testing

For documentation and analysis, the T&R 200 ADM-P records test results directly to a USB memory device. Data can be stored in spreadsheet format together with waveform and harmonic information. This simplifies reporting while allowing engineers to analyse relay curves and transformer magnetisation results after testing.

A flexible timing system also supports accurate measurement of trip, reset and reclose times. Because the timer can operate in current mode, it measures instantaneous trips with high accuracy. In practice, this ensures dependable verification of protection relay performance.
