Its enhanced sensor and optical system produce clear thermal images, helping users see small temperature differences and present problem areas more clearly. A 3.5-inch LCD screen displays thermal, visible, picture-in-picture and fusion image modes.

UltraFocus technology combines image autofocus, laser autofocus and continuous autofocus to make focusing faster and easier. The focus algorithm can operate in one second, while the 30 Hz frame rate supports smooth viewing and video capture when inspecting moving objects. Users can also apply up to 10× digital zoom when checking distant equipment such as overhead pipelines, high-voltage installations and large mechanical assets.

The Fluke Ti480U Thermal Camera records fully radiometric thermal video and non-fully-radiometric thermal and visible video. SmartView IR software for PC supports image and video processing, measurement data analysis and report generation.
