Leak Detection Performance

TPI 725L detects methane with a sensitivity greater than 40 ppm. In addition, it responds to butane, propane, petrol, diesel and kerosene vapours. When gas vapour is detected, the tick rate increases and the green LED flashes faster. If levels rise above 1000 ppm methane, the high LED illuminates to give a clear visual warning.

Simple Operation and Clear Alerts

Using TPI 725L is straightforward. In clean air, press the ON/OFF key and the unit auto zeroes during start-up. Once ready, a steady slow tick and green LED flash confirm normal operation. As you move towards a leak, the audible tick speeds up to guide you to the source.

To pinpoint the exact leak location, press and release the ON/OFF key to nullify the tick rate. This function removes background gas readings and allows you to focus on the highest concentration point. Press and hold the key to power the unit off after use.
