The ATP LX-3809 LED Light Meter provides clear illuminance measurements in lux or footcandles for workplace checks, surveys and routine monitoring. Its silicon photodiode sensor uses an LED spectral filter with sensitivity relative to 550 nm in line with JIS C 1609-1993. A selectable light source setting also allows measurements of LED or standard light sources.
For practical work on site, the meter offers manual or automatic ranging and covers lux measurements up to 400,000 lux. The 50 mm LCD includes a backlight and 40-segment bargraph, helping users follow readings and spot changes during a survey. Data functions include hold, minimum, maximum and average readings, while over-range indication and zero adjustment support straightforward operation.
The ATP LX-3809 LED Light Meter also uses cosine correction to support readings when light reaches the sensor from different angles. Its fixed sensor connects through an approximately 1.5 metre coiled cable, making it easier to position the sensor while keeping the main meter in hand. With automatic power-off, a user-disable option and four AA alkaline batteries, it is suited to regular environmental, health and safety and industrial lighting checks.
