Four measuring ranges cover light levels up to 400,000 Lux and 40,000 FC, allowing one instrument to handle a wide range of survey conditions. A large 58 mm LCD with backlight, clear icons and a 41-segment bargraph makes readings easy to view during site work.
A remote light sensor with a one-metre lead helps users take readings around ducts, hoods and other areas that are difficult to reach while keeping the meter in hand. The silicon photodiode sensor uses a spectral response filter, while the fully cosine-corrected lens supports stable measurements when the sensor is used at an angle. Relative measurement, peak hold, minimum and maximum review, auto zero and an over-range warning provide useful controls for routine checking and survey work.
For longer measurement tasks, the ATP LX-8809A USB Data Logging Light Meter can record more than 16,000 readings for later transfer to a PC or laptop through USB. The instrument can also store up to 99 readings for on-screen review, and the user can set the data logger sampling rate and time.
