IMPORTANT RECALL INFORMATION – Previously purchased a Fluke 8x V series multi meter ? Read here.
The Fluke 83V is a rugged yet precise multimeter designed for fast troubleshooting in industrial and commercial environments. It is backed by Fluke’s industrial products limited lifetime warranty.
Designed with everything you need
The large backlit LCD screen provides great visibility of readings, plus the single rib textured rotary dial makes function selection easy, even when wearing PPE.
The Fluke 83V measures AC / DC voltage up to 1000V and current up to 10A (20A for up to 30 seconds). Plus Resistance up to 50MΩ, capacitance up to 9,999µF and frequency up to 200 kHz. Furthermore the 83V features duty cycle, conductance and diode testing.
Use its low pass filter function to measure voltage and frequency accurately on electrically ‘noisy’ equipment like adjustable speed motor drives. Use the peak capture function to detect intermittent problems and transients as fast as 250 micro seconds (µs).
The Input Alert function gives you an audible warning against wrong use of input jacks. Fluke 80 Series multimeters are independently tested for use in CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1000V environments. They can withstand impulses in excess of 8,000 V and reduce risks related to surges and spikes.
