The Fluke FEV300 is a versatile EV Charging Station Test Adapter equipped with a Type 2 Connector, designed for efficiently testing and maintaining electric vehicle charging stations. It simulates a vehicle’s charging process, enabling tests like voltage and current output measurement. This device is particularly aimed at evaluating Mode 3 AC charging stations’ functionality and safety.
The FEV300 is compatible with various Fluke testers, including the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Tester. It facilitates several critical tests, including ground fault detection, wire insulation, voltage assessment, and checking the availability of maximum charging current.
Featuring a Control Pilot (CP (E) and PE (Earth Fault) simulation, the device also has three LED lamps for quick phase indication. It incorporates measuring terminals (L1, L2, L3, N, and PE) for comprehensive safety and performance tests.
Conforming to IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standards, the FEV300 can detect dangerous voltages and simulate cable capabilities. When used with the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Tester, it conducts safety measurements like earth bond, insulation, loop/line impedance, and RCD trip tests. The adapter also has terminals for CP signal output, essential for communication with charging stations.
The FEV300 is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance, and comes with a protective carry case for enhanced durability.
