Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser with HVACR Kit

The Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser with HVACR Kit combines combustion analysis, HVACR testing and wireless measurement tools in one portable package. It is suited to the installation, commissioning and servicing of boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. It can also support testing on domestic and commercial heating and water systems, including checks for carbon monoxide in a room or around an appliance.

For combustion work, the analyser measures oxygen, carbon monoxide, temperature and differential pressure, while also calculating values such as carbon dioxide, CO/CO2 ratio, excess air and combustion efficiency. The Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser with HVACR Kit can perform flue draught, system and tightness tests, as well as sweep and CO migration tests. It also supports building indoor air quality and ventilation measurements.

Wireless accessories extend the kit beyond combustion analysis. The Kane-HUB4 kit uses wireless temperature clamp probes and wireless pressure probes to measure refrigeration system flow and return pressures, high and low temperatures, superheat, subcooling, evaporation and condensation without a conventional manifold and hoses. The Kane-DTHA2 measures airflow, temperature and humidity for ventilation testing, while Kane Link and the Kane Live App allow compatible measurements to be viewed, saved and transferred.

Key Benefits
  • Combines combustion, HVACR and ventilation testing in one portable kit.
  • Wireless temperature and pressure probes reduce the need for manifolds and hoses during HVACR testing.
  • Kane-DTHA2 provides wireless airflow, temperature and humidity measurements for ventilation checks.
  • Supports boiler commissioning with sweep, CO migration, flue draught and combustion efficiency testing.
  • Measures building IAQ and ventilation alongside heating and refrigeration system performance.
  • Kane Link allows compatible Kane instruments to work alongside the analyser during testing.
  • Kane Live App support allows test results to be viewed, saved and emailed as reports.
  • GPS test locations and personal notes can be added to results through the Kane Live App.
  • A supplied backpack provides a practical carrying and storage option for the kit.

Common Applications

Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser with HVACR Kit is suitable for a range of testing, maintenance and inspection tasks, including:

  • Installing, commissioning and servicing boilers.
  • Testing and servicing heat pump systems.
  • Air conditioning and refrigeration system testing.
  • Domestic and commercial heating and water system testing.
