Wireless Connectivity and Data Handling
The Kane DTHA2 Wireless Airflow, Temperature & Humidity Meter wirelessly transmits measurement data over distances of up to 150 metres. Users can view live readings on compatible analysers, including the Kane 458s, 958 and 988. They can also save and send results directly to printers or smartphones, making reporting and record keeping quick and efficient.
The free iOS and Android application adds extra functionality by calculating outlet volume flow using duct dimensions and geometry. Consequently, users can complete airflow assessments more quickly while reducing manual calculations. Instant On technology also helps speed up operation when measurements are required.
Designed for HVAC Applications
Airflow measurement ranges from 1.1 to 20.0 m/s, making the unit suitable for ventilation and extraction testing. Temperature measurement covers conditions from -20°C to +50°C, while relative humidity readings extend from 0.1% to 99.9% RH. The meter also supports dew point, dry bulb and wet bulb measurements for wider environmental analysis.
Two set types are available for different application requirements. Users can select the standard Kane DTHA2 Wireless Airflow, Temperature & Humidity Meter configuration or choose a set with the optional extender probe compatibility for improved reach. This flexibility helps engineers adapt the instrument to a wider range of testing environments.
