The Megger DET14C and DET24C represent a new generation of earth/ground clamp-on resistance testers. These instruments induce a test current into earth systems and measure ground resistance in multi ground installations without needing to disconnect the ground. They offer market leading access, advanced features, simple operation and CAT IV 600 V safety protection.

The DET14C is an advanced clamp meter designed to inject a test current and measure earth resistance in multi-grounded systems without requiring disconnection. This tool simplifies the process of earth resistance testing, traditionally a more complex task requiring system disconnection or the use of auxiliary stakes. It is particularly efficient for multiple loop installations, providing a quick, safe, and single-point measurement solution.

In addition to ground resistance, the Megger DET14C offers True RMS current measurement up to 35 Amps, enabling the monitoring of earth leakage currents and thus providing insights into the overall performance and potential issues within the earth system.

The device features a refined design with flat core ends, promoting consistent measurement results and increased durability by mitigating the common issue of bent interlocking teeth found in other meters. Its cleaning ease further contributes to sustained accuracy over time. A built-in filter function enhances noise resistance for clearer readings.

The ergonomic elliptical clamp of the Megger DET14C is crafted for better cable and strap accessibility, especially in tight spaces, fitting up to 37mm diameter cables and 50mm wide earth tapes.
