Trend LANTEK IV-S 500MHz Cable Certifier delivers fast certification and troubleshooting for copper and fibre optic cabling. It tests at up to 500MHz and certifies Cat6A links in as little as seven seconds. A high-resolution colour touchscreen gives users a clear and simple way to control tests and view results.
For fault finding, the tester uses TDRL and TDX functions to locate crosstalk and return loss faults along the cable. It creates a full wiremap with distance-to-fault information and measures TCL, ELTCTL, common and differential NEXT, resistance unbalance and shield integrity. Voltage protection also helps protect the tester if users accidentally connect it to a PoE source.
USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity let users transfer test data to a PC or smartphone through the Trend AnyWARE Cloud.
