Fluke 1503 Insulation Resistance Tester
The Fluke 1503 covers every aspect an engineer needs from an insulation Tester, its ergonomic design makes it simple to operate, the straight forward function dial lets the engineer navigate what test they want to carry out, the accuracy means they can rely on the measurements they are reading and the rugged design means it can last the wear and tear of day to day work.
The insulation test range on the 1503 is 0.1 M Ω to 2G Ω, the voltages that the insulation is tested at is 500V and 1000V (if more test voltages are required please see the Fluke 1507). AC/DC voltage measurements from 0.1 to 600V. This insulation tester can detect live circuits, this will prevent an insulation test if the voltage is greater than 30V. Another safety feature on the product is the auto discharge of capacitive voltage. The 1503 also has the function to perform a resistance measurement of between 0.01 Ω to 20.00 kΩ.
The backlit display gives the user full visibility at all times. The unit is CATIV 600V rated and comes with four AA alkaline batteries. There is also a 1 year warranty on the 1503 to give the user assurances.
