It sends live readings to compatible KANE LINK analysers, making it easier to monitor conditions without entering potentially hazardous spaces. This practical design supports safer testing in homes, workplaces and other indoor environments.

Designed for ambient air monitoring, the Kane 79 Wireless CO Monitor measures carbon monoxide concentrations from 0 to 999ppm with a resolution of 1ppm. Readings can be viewed remotely on a compatible analyser, helping users work more efficiently. In addition, the monitor features both visual and audible alarms to provide clear warnings when CO levels increase.

Remote Monitoring and Connectivity

With wireless communication capabilities, the Kane 79 Wireless CO Monitor allows readings to be viewed from up to 100 metres line of sight. It works alongside KANE LINK analysers to combine ambient air monitoring with appliance testing. As a result, engineers can carry out multiple test activities while maintaining access to real-time CO data.

The monitor also supports data storage directly through the analyser. Users can save readings and then transfer information for reporting purposes. Furthermore, recorded data can be printed or sent to a smartphone or tablet when used with compatible equipment.

Logging and Alert Functions

For longer-term monitoring, the Kane 79 Wireless CO Monitor can log carbon monoxide levels every minute for up to two weeks. This makes it suitable for room testing, workplace monitoring and vehicle inspections. The maximum reading hold function also helps capture peak values during testing.

Clear visual alerts provide fast indication of changing CO levels. Green alerts indicate 2 to 9ppm, amber alerts indicate 10 to 34ppm, and red alerts indicate 35ppm or higher. Combined with an audible alarm, the system helps users react quickly to elevated carbon monoxide concentrations. Two set options are available, allowing users to select the most suitable package for their application.
