The PD440SX with CALCHECK from Martindale is a multifunctional proving device for voltage indicators and multifunction testers. It primarily proves the correct working of voltage indicators before and after use, in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations.

Furthermore, the unit makes it easy to verify the insulation and low resistance ranges on 18th Edition multifunction instruments between calibrations.

Proving is fast, easy and safe

Prove voltage indicators up to 440V. Simply push the prods into the holes on the PD440SX and watch as the voltage starts at 440V and steps down through the ranges of 440V / 230V / 120V and 50V. Once completed, low resistance appears across the terminals to verify the continuity function of two pole testers.

The PD440SX proving unit range is designed to match that of the Martindale VIPD138 voltage tester.

Check and record between calibrations

The individual reference resistance test pads with nominal values of 0.5Ωand 1.0Ω for continuity measurements and 0.5MΩ and 1.0MΩ for insulation resistance make it simple to check and identify calibration drift and remain confident in your test results wherever you are working. Results can then be recorded and provided during assessment.

Thanks to its slim design, the PD440SX can be taken anywhere, ready on hand when needed from job to job. A magnetic hanging strap is also included for added convenience.
