Megger DCM340 Clampmeter
The Megger DCM340 is a high specification AC / DC current (up to 600A) and voltage (up to 600V) clamp meter. It is designed to be used on electrical systems and equipment where a variety of measurements need to be taken, including voltage, current, resistance and frequency. The DCM340 is therefore ideal for installing, maintaining, fault finding or monitoring electrical systems and equipment.
The most capable clamp meter
The Megger DCM340 is the highest specification clamp meter in the Megger DCM300 range. It has the widest jaw opening of 35mm, making it suitable for medium sized conductors, plus it is the only model in the range to feature frequency measurement.
The main difference however is the DCM340’s ability to measure DC current up to 600A. The DC current ranges available are 0 – 60A / 60.0 – 400.0 A and 400 – 600A.
User friendly
Many helpful features are included on the Megger DCM340 including a backlit display for working in poorly lit areas, as well as a data hold feature. In addition to these features, the DCM340 also automatically stores the min and max value.
Resistance, continuity and frequency.
A range of multi meter functions add to the DCM340’s versatility. Resistance can be measured up to 400Ω, with an audible continuity buzzer at less than 30Ω. The frequency range of the DCM340 is 20 – 400 Hz.
