Testo 606-2 Pocket Temperature & Humidity Meter
The Testo 606-2 Moisture Meter ingeniously integrates the functions of a penetrating moisture meter with a thermohygrometer. This device delivers moisture level readings as a percentage of dry mass, utilizing preset characteristic curves tailored for different types of wood and construction materials. It acquires measurements via dual ram electrodes capable of probing up to 4-5mm into the material.
Moreover, the Testo 606-2’s thermohygrometer capabilities enable it to record ambient temperature (NTC) ranging from -10˚C to 50˚C, and humidity levels from 0 to 100%. These features are particularly useful for assessing the drying conditions at a worksite and for computing wet bulb and dew point values to ensure material preservation.
The device boasts an illuminated display for visibility in dim settings and includes a data hold feature that maintains the readings on the screen after the electrodes are disengaged from the material being examined. Its user-friendly three-button interface makes it simple to operate, even in challenging environments.
The Testo 606-2 comes with a suite of accessories such as a protective cap, batteries, a calibration certificate, a hand strap, and a belt holder. It offers an impressive battery life of up to 130 hours and has an IP20 rating for protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm, adding to its durability and longevity.
