Testo 871s Thermal Imaging Camera
The testo 871s thermal imaging camera offers a high-quality 240 x 180 pixel detector, connectivity via the testo Thermography App and numerous innovative functions. It fits comfortably in the hand and convinces with intuitive operation in a modern tile look. For even more meaningful thermal images, the thermal imager also wirelessly integrates the measurement values of the clamp meter testo 770-3 as well as the thermohydrometer testo 605i (both available as an option).
The thermal sensitivity of the Testo 871s is 80mK, meaning the camera can detect smaller temperature differences than the Testo 865s and 868s. This makes the 871 more suited to applications where spotting smaller temperature differences is required by the user. This may be for preventive maintenance measurement purposes where frequent monitoring of equipment is required. The Testo 871s can be used in conjunction with the Testo 605i thermohygrometer to provide the value of the relative surface moisture. This is calculated from the ambient temperature and air humidity, automatically transferred in real time by the wireless humidity probe, and the measured surface temperature. For electrical application the Testo 871s can also be used in conjunction with the Test 770-3 clamp meter.

Testo ScaleAssist
This useful tool automatically optimises the thermal image scale for the best results. This helps prevent interpretation errors that can lead to false evaluations. ScaleAssist also makes the Testo 871s more accessible to a greater range of users, including those with limited experience of thermal imaging.
Measuring range
Choose from two selectable measuring ranges.
-30 to +100: Ideally suited to everyday measurement requirements.
0 to 650: High temperature range if required for more industrial applications.
The large temperature range makes the 871s a suitable choice for many building and electrical applications, but also industrial environments where high temperatures may be present.
Solar mode
If you have a separate irradiance meter, you can input the solar radiation value into the Testo 871s. This value is then stored with every thermal image and is then available for evaluation in the analysis software included.
Testo ε assist
Via the integrated digital camera, the Testo 871s recognises the reference sticker (ε marker) and then automatically adjusts the emissivity setting depending on the emissivity and reflected temperature. This features helps reduce inaccurate measurements as a result of emissivity caused by user error. 3 ε markers are included with the Testo 871s.
