Testo 872 Thermal Imaging Camera
The testo 872s thermal imaging camera stands out thanks to its resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, a very high thermal sensitivity, numerous innovative functions, smartphone connection via the testo Thermography App and the best price-performance ratio of its class. In addition to this, it fits comfortably in the hand and convinces with intuitive operation in a modern tile look. For even more meaningful thermal images, the testo 872s also integrates the measurement values of the clamp meter testo 770-3 as well as the thermohygrometer testo 605i via Bluetooth (both available as an option).

Ultimate connectivity
In addition to its wide range of application uses, the Testo 872 can be used with the Testo thermography app, available on both Android and iOS devices. Reports can be created and sent via the app, meaning results can be sent straight to the person who needs them, whether this be an engineer on site or a customer. The 872s can also be operated via the app and the smart device can be used as a second screen.
Hot and cold spot detection
Automatic hot and cold spot recognition helps flag problem areas quickly and easily, removing the need for timely investigations. This camera also allows the user to view large areas in one go, potentially highlighting multiple critical issues in one snapshot.
Integrated digital camera
An integrated digital camera allows comparison between normal visual images and thermal images side by side. This makes interpreting thermal images much easier, and issues can be pinpointed virtually straight away and marked on the visual image for easy identification on site.
Simplifying emissivity
The Testo 872s makes compensating for emissivity as straight forward as possible. Pre-sets for a range of commonly found materials means the 872 takes the guess work out of setting the correct emissivity level. The 872 can also be used with testo e markers. Simply stick the e marker on the surface to be measured and the camera automatically adjusts the emissivity setting. A manual mode is also available if preferred. The addition of a laser marker means h euser can see exactly what they are measuring.
The feature set and simplicity of the Testo 872s make it an excellent value camera. It takes all the features of the Testo 871s plus adds improved IR resolution, thermal sensitivity, wider field of view and laser marker. Pro software is also included for in depth reporting.
