TPI 9070 Vibration & Bearing Condition Analyser
The TPI 9070 Vibration & Bearing Condition Analyser supports routine movement checks and focused bearing checks on turning machinery. It measures force, speed and bearing damage units, helping users assess machine condition before a fault gets worse. Built-in ISO alarms and movement check bands also make results easier to review during maintenance work.
A colour OLED screen shows readings in a clear layout, while warning-light signs help users spot imbalance, poor alignment and looseness. The meter provides an FFT spectrum with 100, 200, 400 or 800-line resolution, plus zoom and cursor tools for closer frequency checks. Its built-in sensor allows direct readings without the need to connect a separate sensor.
Made for field use, the TPI 9070 Vibration & Bearing Condition Analyser combines a compact 280 g body with IP67 protection. Simple button controls support quick repeat readings, and built-in memory keeps stored data available between jobs. Two AA batteries provide approximately 50 hours of normal use, making the instrument useful for extended site visits
Key Benefits
- Checks general vibration and bearing condition with one handheld instrument.
- Uses ISO alarms to support quick assessment of vibration levels.
- Highlights imbalance, misalignment and looseness through built-in analysis bands.
- Presents results clearly on a full-colour OLED screen.
- Provides traffic-light indications for faster review of machine condition.
- Offers an 800-line FFT spectrum, zoom and cursor tools for detailed fault finding.
- Uses an internal accelerometer for direct readings without an external sensor connection.
- Stores readings in non-volatile flash memory between maintenance jobs.

- Supports extended site work with approximately 50 hours of battery life.
Common Applications
TPI 9070 Vibration & Bearing Condition Analyser is suitable for a range of testing, maintenance and inspection tasks, including:
- General vibration surveys on rotating machinery
- Bearing condition checks using BDU readings
- Identification of machine imbalance
- Identification of shaft or component misalignment
- Detection of mechanical looseness
- Commercial and industrial HVAC maintenance
- Manufacturing and food-processing equipment checks
- Maintenance in power plants and utilities
- Inspection work in mining and petrochemical sites
- Machinery checks in packaging, automotive, pulp and paper facilities
Why Choose This Model?
The TPI 9070 combines an internal accelerometer, selectable FFT resolution and approximately 50 hours of AA-battery operation in a 280 g IP67 instrument. Compared with the supplied alternatives, it offers simpler direct sensing than the cable-connected TPI 9071 and avoids the separate rechargeable and communications features listed for the TPI 9084.
